Scholarship!
For four years now Learnkey has offered a scholarship program to help worthy high school students achieve technical certifications for highly used software programs in the business world.
Only 3 schools will be chosen, and each school will be represented by 10 students. So this is the kind of scholarship where students should appeal to their schools to apply, as individual submissions will not be accepted.
Submissions must be in by Oct 14th, that gives you … two days. If that’s all you need to know, go submit your scholarship application now.

4th Annual LearnKey Scholarship Program
The LearnKey Scholarship Program was designed around students achieving industry certifications to prepare them for their college career. As an added bonus there is a $1,000 college scholarship. The program is planned around LearnKey content to assist the teacher in preparing the student for certification exams from Microsoft, CompTIA, Adobe, and Certiport. LearnKey is committed to supporting schools with 21st century technology skills.
As part of this commitment, LearnKey will select three US based high schools to participate in this scholarship. School selections are based on social and economic needs and problem statements addressed in the application. We are awarding three $1,000 college scholarships to eligible students who choose an industry based certification path and certify by the end of the school year. LearnKey will provide complimentary learning preparation tools and testing vouchers. To nominate your school visit www.learnkey.com/scholarship.
“Now more than ever schools are focusing on industry certifications for their students and staff. We are pleased to be able to support this initiative plus the bonus of the $1,000 scholarships for the 4th year in a row,” said Jamie Franzman, COO, LearnKey, Inc. “It is my personal goal to help students achieve industry certifications.”
To nominate your school you must complete the application and submit no later than October 14, 2009. Schools must be selected to participate. For detailed information visit, www.learnkey.com/education.
